Deborah has been working as a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services [CAMHS] consultant psychiatrist for eight years.

She trained in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in 2005 and has been developing her work in this field in therapeutic work with young people. Specialising in the treatment of young people's substance misuse disorders over the last 5 years she and now works part-time in the NHS in Bristol.

Deborah is part of a national CAMHS psychiatrist group involved in developing this specialist area of work. It has a significant overlap with adolescent mental health problems, leading to Deborah giving presentations at national and international conferences on the topic.
