Dr Dawn Fisher is a consultant clinical and forensic psychologist who has over 20 years experience of working with both adults and adolescents with mental health and offending behaviour problems. She has been involved in research commissioned by the Home Office (evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programmes for sex offenders) as part of the STEP team for over a decade. Her work has been widely published and she regularly presents at conferences both nationally and internationally.
More recently she has combined her interest in horses with her therapeutic work and has undertaken work using EAP. She is very interested in the use of different approaches for individuals with a history of trauma and attachment problems who find it difficult to utilise conventional talking therapies.
