An Introduction to Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
An experiential workshop for therapists, mental health workers and other interested parties who are curious about the benefits of Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy and who would like further insights into how it works. This profound experience is varied and interesting, covering both reflective work and more active approaches. A day of experiential sessions aimed at providing a small taster of what may be possible within this field and signposting the best way for you to move forward.

Mike Delaney is one of the leading practitioners of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy in the UK, treating over 700 patients in the last seven years with this powerful healing and self-esteem boosting psychotherapy. Mike's EAP skills were also used to help treat London Underground staff with substance issues following the July 2005 tube bombings.
Mike is a highly skilled and experienced practitioner who is passionate about the powerful benefits of therapeutically working with horses. He has witnessed incredible changes particularly in clients who initially presented as blocked, incommunicative or resistant through painful life experiences. He also works with addictions, depression, co-dependency, PTSD and other Complex Mental Health Issues.
How to book a workshop
If you would like to attend one of our 'An Introduction to Equine Assisted Psychotherapy' workshops please choose from the dates below, download registration form, fill in your details and return it to LEAP along with a deposit of £50.00 (non-refundable) to book a place.
These workshops will only run if there are sufficient numbers of bookings and will be cancelled if the minimum number is not reached. If this happens participants will have their deposits refunded.
